New Year's Resolution

The number one New Year's Resolution is to GET IN SHAPE!  This year make that goal a reality at the Bachman Indoor Pool.  The pool offers a variety of open lap swimming hours to fit into any schedule.  Swimming is a total body workout and is zero to low impact.  Transition this exercise from cardio to weight training by adding equipment such as hand paddles or fins.  If you need to ease into swimming try this 500 yard set with 20 second rest intervals:

  • 100 Choice Warm Up
  • 4 x 50 Flutter Kick
  • 50 Freestyle Recovery
  • 4 x 25 Freestyle Sprint
  • 50 Freestyle Cool Down
